Mt.Crested Butte, CO -As previously reported, the well-respected Crested Butte Academy (CBA) has recently teamed up with a pioneer in the "Academy" business-IMG Academies (IMGA)-and its real estate development partner Cay Clubs Resort and Academies.
Thanks to Sunvest Communities USA, which acquired the 262 room (former Club Med) resort hotel at the foot of Mt. Crested Butte in late 2006, the CBA will now be headquartered at Sunvest's complex-appropriately named "Elevation Hotel and Spa". CBA's home at Elevation establishes it as the only ski in, ski out academy in the USA.
The Elevation/CBA/IMGA collaboration enables the CBA to infuse its world class sports and educational programs not only with exceptional resort training facilities, but with Elevation's luxury accommodations and buffet or menu style dining as well.
The Crested Butte Academy is a fully accredited college preparatory (6-12) boarding/day school that offers world class Camp and Academy programs in alpine skiing, free ride skiing, snowboarding, and high altitude running.
